Back Country Lodge is set upon the shores of a large shimmering pond and is nestled beneath rolling hills and hanging valleys. The sheer beauty of the lodges setting is breathtaking.

Back Country Lodge accommodates up to 8 hunting/adventure enthusiasts. There six bedrooms which feature complete bedding (linens, pillows, towels, etc.) some of which are single, while others are double occupancy. The lodge has a large bounding area that contains comfortable sofas, large screen television (with satellite).

We also offer nightly entertainment as some of our guides offer their talents each evening. We would be more than happy if you bring an instrument and/or your singing voice!

The lodge’s kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances. We have a completely qualified chef who has the ability to cook up quite the meal! All meals are included within your chosen package and include 3 meals per day, along with boxed lunches for the hunt or adventure.

Each meal is prepared diligently and the incredible aroma and taste are sure to excite! Throughout the week, you will be treated to local dishes such as traditional Newfoundland “Jigs Dinner”, Seafood Platter and regular feast such as roasted turkey and beef, and steak.
