Atlantic Salmon Newfoundland and Labrador are home to approximately 68% of all North American Atlantic Salmon rivers. Essentially, this means that your chances of hooking a fish are quite good. Salmon fishing is done through fly fishing. You will find this method of fishing to be quite thrilling and the moment you find your rod bending with the weight of an Atlantic Salmon. The rush is unmatched!
Trout
You will find both Brook & Lake trout plentiful in Newfoundland and Labrador. A very challenging species, the trout can either be caught using the fly or baited tackle. With a more than prime habitat for fishing, one thing can be assured, when fishing for trout in the province, you will not be disappointed!
